** Custom barrels chambered in 32 H&R Mag. and 327 Federal will be build on a true .308" groove barrel and not a 32 caliber pistol bore (.312" groove). This does not allow for use of ANY factory-built ammunition. Barrels in these calibers are intended to be handload-only.
*** Custom barrels chambered in 30-221/300 Blackout are designed and built to minimum chamber specs. These are handload-only chambers and will NOT accept once-fired and/or remanufactured brass.
‡ Custom barrels chambered in 7.62 x 39 will be built on a true .308" groove barrel. This does not allow for use of ANY re-manufactured or factory-built ammunition regardless of bullet diameter used. These products are commonly made for traditional military chambers with larger bore sizes or have been fired in oversized chambers and may cause damage to your firearm when used in our barrels. Our 7.62 x 39 barrels are intended to be handload-only.

NOTE: Maximum rifle barrel lengths may vary by barrel supplier (typically 26 1/2" or 27"). The addition of integral muzzle brakes, or requesting an upgrade to a longer special-order blank can adjust these typical maximums; a price increase may apply.
Barrels requested to be finished from 27" to 29" will most often be ordered through Douglas Barrels. They incur a $120 premium, rather than the $100 listed below. Barrels requested to be finished longer than 29" will, again, most often be ordered from Douglas Barrels, and overall length options may depend on the caliber. "BR length" barrel blanks will typically incur a $140-$160 premium and may finish up to 31" long.

NOTE: .458 calibers do not incur a premium fee when ordered in 1:20 twist, and up to 27" long. .458 calibers in 1:14 twist are a special order and feature the $50 or $100 premiums, as listed above, depending on length. Calibers using the .510" groove barrels, excluding 209 x 50s feature the $50 or $100 premiums, as listed above, depending on length. 209 x 50 barrels are priced separately for the special barrel order and extra work and accessory costs they incur.
How Do I Place My Custom Order?
Bullberry Encore barrel tapers start 5 inches ahead of the breech to allow ample room for scope mounting using any manufacturer's hardware and to allow the rear-most forearm hanger bar dovetail position on this full bull portion of the barrel.
Large bore barrels may be limited in profile options. Call for specifics according to bore dimensions.
Unlike our Contender barrel forearm hanger bar, we have bars of different configuration to match the various Encore profiles, allowing the bar and forearm to always mount parallel to the bore.
- Full Bull target barrel – straight 1" diameter to the muzzle
- Heavy Varmint taper – muzzle diameter of .850"
- Medium Varmint taper – muzzle diameter of .800"
- Light Varmint taper – muzzle diameter of .750"
- Heavy Sporter taper – muzzle diameter of .700"
- Medium Sporter taper – muzzle diameter of .650"

Standard Barrel Profiles
First and foremost, we want to talk with you. While we prefer a phone call to go over the variety of details and options involved with every custom order, we are happy to work by email as well.
You should know that most orders do not require any deposit. Non-refundable deposits are required for all special order barrels, in the value of the corresponding "premium". Deposits are also requested for special order add-ons like ProHunter frames and scopes.

Optional Barrel Add-ons and Accessories
Though the original Encore® frames are now discontinued, the virtually identical ProHunter™ frames are readily available at this time.
Just as with the smaller G2 action, the ProHunter frames are offered as a courtesy to barrel customers, only being added to our inventory upon request and with payment received. Due to the unpredictable availability of frames in the past we suggest you order a frame at the time we confirm it is available from one of our suppliers. Any purchased frames will be charged at the date of order and held in our vault until the corresponding barrel(s) is ready to be fitted and shipped as a complete firearm.
Frame purchases include the frame only. Custom woodwork, laminates and synthetic options, can all be purchased separately and are all available for use with our hanger system, included on all custom barrels.
